Deadman's monologue

So, his expeditionary force won the campaign. There are still dissent and resistance among the people, but with the power of wonder drugs, the people will soon forget the pain of the past and the tyranny of the present to indulge in the joy of drugs. Deadman, however refuses to use the idea that drugs being slipped into water supplies or distributed through air, making the people docile against their will. He honors free will but does everything within reasonable means to persuade people to use his drugs.

Thinking back, one of his most decisive move of the entire campaign was turn 3. North side ordered a general offensive along the entire front. His spy, berong91 was among the attacker. By that time, he had already narrowed down the spy among his rank to either corsad or angemon. Neither of them had attacked anyone before, others were either dead, wounded or victorious. And both of them were attacked. One of them attacked by his own spy in the North.

So Deadman played a gamble. He ordered berong91 to go ahead and attack Deadman's own force. The orders to the defenders was to stand the ground. He presumed that anyone who fall back would be the spy. To limit the possibility of getting either his own spy or soldier killed by the fight, Deadman also gave out another directive that the rule using by the defenders will give the defeated a 50% chance of escape, 49% chance of being wounded and abut 1% chance of being killed. The best possibility outcome was for either corsad or berong to escape. If not, one of them wounded, preferably berong, since if Corsad were wounded then the spy in Deadman's rank would have his kill.

The gambled played out well. Either angemon, fearing for his own life or drakemetal, wanting to protect his own force, made angemon to abandon his post, revealing him as a spy. Had he stayed and fight on, Deadman wouldn't have known. The rule ordered by Deadman already gave both sides a good chance of not getting killed.

berong91 was wounded in the fight, temporarily putting him out of harms way or him potentially harming any of his comrades in the South. Deadman was always some kind of insane commander. He ordered berong91 to follow the North's orders, putting him and everyone in the South in risk, but a calculated risk. As they always says: nothing ventured, nothing gained.

But Deadman did made a wrong move though. Since drake's force drew up next to his house, Deadman decided to move out of the way, thus preventing him to hanging the spy in time. He paid for it by a botched assassination, which failed to kill Deadman, but rendering him incapacitated. That meant the next turn angemon would still be able to roam around and even made the killing blow on Deadman. Thanks to the dead soul roy, Deadman recovered and hung ange the next turn.

However with the diminishing number on the North side, chance that berong91 to be revealed as spy increased. In turn 05, the new leader of the North, Cryst, executed berong.

What make BBW won every battle on this land ?

And BBW luck is extraordinary that he never suffer or losing a single battle.

Until the final blow is the most hardest choice of him when the enemy has 20/30 points. Retreat is a good option but once again, BBW try to gamble his life for the final victory. Soon, everyone has to accept that he's in God's favor even though he just use his name to justify his action.
