if they fail there's a high chance they'll seriously perish this time

that's really risky, considering Sony's Android devices are not very competitive (untouched basic UI, no LED screen, BRAVIA engine already helps a lot but still, can't compare to LED; the only highlights are crazy Facebook integration, somewhat upper hand in photography department, good sound output for both speakers and earphones attached, high quality build, original designs, tree hugging business. That sounds like a lot but their products really don't stand out and pricey. Q3 results are horrible too, the earthquake back in March is not a very good excuse, they just have been doing so well since entering this smartphone business. And bad advertising

those Xperia Play ads were mortifying.)
The one who made the decision must have balls of steel

unless, which I highly doubt, Sony is buying out Ericsson's shares and shrinking their mobile department

i mean they make a bunch of other stuffs, i wonder what brought them so low, the old SE products though being merely feature phones always had such a wonderful blend, best of all worlds
