The word itself perhaps is understood as a portmanteau of the word "win" (meaning: awesome) and "incest" (meaning: sexual relationship between close relatives, blood related or not, depending on culturally-socially specific definition).

However, this implied meaning: "wincest" = incest which is win is perhaps a great misconception.

Do a Google search for wincest, use "I'm feeling lucky", and you get this

That's right, wincest originally is a portmanteau of the word "Winchester" and "incest".
